Number 2 - 8th July 2000

Congratulations to Scott and Muriel (Scott Shawl, USA and Muriel, The Netherlands) on becoming FISM GRAND PRIX CHAMPIONS 2000. They won with a comedy illusion act that has a couple of great twists for a magic audience. I'm really delighted for Scott and Muriel as we were working together in Japan just eight weeks ago, and I know how much work they put into this act. In fact Scott could first be seen performing magic here in the UK, back in the mid eighties, in London's Covent Garden. I'm sure they'll be booked for a UK convention soon. No UK performers in any category top-threes unfortunately this time. 8.7.00
