Rt Hon the Lord MacGregor was up to his old tricks again last week as MPs and peers attended the Annual Parliamentary Variety Show at St. John's, Smith Square, London. John MacGregor teamed up with MP Eleanor Laing and presented some rope magic. "It was great fun to appear on the stage as the Sorcerer's Apprentice, the audience seemed quite amazed that I could cut a rope in half, and then restore it to one piece again. I was amazed too!" said Eleanor Laing. 16.2.02
