Arsenal striker and World Cup competitor Thierry Henry is the new face of Renault Clio in an advertising campaign launched on Friday evening during the first episode of the new series of 'Big Brother.' The campaign was created by French advertising agency Publicis, and features Henry searching for the meaning of "Va Va Voom," the catchphrase used in recent Clio ad campaigns. Duncan Trillo's card manipulations are seen at the start of the commercial, passing the "Va Va Voom" test... The campaign is designed to make the car, traditionally aimed at women (remember Nicole?), more appealing to men. "The new campaign is primarily aimed at a younger, male audience and reflects the popularity of the sporty versions of Clio." said Jonathan Wignall, Renault UK's national advertising manager. 25.5.02
