The line up for the 9th British Close-up Magic Symposium, which takes place on Sunday 10th April 2005 at Bath University, is now complete with the addition of top Spanish close-upper Antonio Romero to the Gala Show. Antonio will no doubt be performing his unique version of the cups and balls as well as magic featuring his wonderful holdout... "Mr Romero has pushed the classic 'pull' into a whole new dimension that makes it a diabolical tool for effects of all kinds, whether you perform on stage or close-up." Antonio will have a table in the dealer room. For full details of the 9th Symposium visit www.markleveridge.co.uk. 12.2.05

Trickshop.com have just sent through two new products for 2005, Card Source and The Zenner Effect. Card Source features the slimmest, lightest index that I've ever seen allowing you to present many different effects - quickly! Supplied complete with cards, index and a very well produced manuscript this is the stuff that reputations are made of. Highly recommended - I'd opt for the full delivered version, see www.trickshop.com for details. The second item is The Zenner Effect inspired by David Britland's Zennerism. Supplied with two sets of Zener cards and, once again, an excellent manuscript, this very clean demonstration of Extra Sensory Perception is clearly presented (and easy to do!). Top stuff, with real attention to detail as always, from www.trickshop.com. 12.2.05
