Etienne Pradier has just returned from a trip to Russia where he performed at a number of orphanages and hospitals, entertaining audiences of about 120 children at each. For one child the whole experience was extra magical as Etienne made his brother, whom he hadn't seen for over a year, appear on stage with him. "I made him appear from underneath a big cloth... the audience was very emotional about the effect and of course I was crying inside. It was joy and sadness - to see the smiling faces made me proud to be a magician." Etienne has recently moved office and also changed his mobile number. Lee Thompson's team of Eccentric Waiters from www.pickingpockets.com have just returned from another successful event in Geneva, where they entertained Easy Jet's Stelios and various Greek shipping giants, for the annual fundraising dinner of the Orthodox Philanthropique Foundation. The team were flown in and out, SAS style, to perform Lee's 12 year creation "The Eccentric Waiters". Guests were unaware of just what lay ahead, as the waiters got to work their cleverly choreographed routines on them! The meal was followed by Lee's after-dinner cabaret spot, where the boundaries between reality and virtual reality are crossed as he steps in and out of a film projected onto a large screen. Lee's theatre show may be seen at the MAC in Birmingham in the New Year - watch this space! 10.11.07

Learn How To Entertain Children! Children's entertainer Mike Clarke is releasing a comprehensive training system to teach people how to enter the world of children's entertainment. Says Mike "10 years ago, I was looking for information on becoming a children’s entertainer. While there seemed to be a lot of "marketing courses for magicians" around (written mainly from a US perspective) I found it very hard to find real useable information about how to actually enter the children's entertainment environment from scratch." Click Here to find out all about this system, and how you can save £50 if ordered before December 1st. (The system has been created with the complete beginner in mind - although others will undoubtedly find useful information and food for thought!). 10.11.07
