Marc Paul will be lecturing at Blackpool Magicians' Club on Tuesday 4th October. Peter Eldin writes: Marc is a mind-reader and psychological magician who gives his audience bafflement, amazement and, most important of all, entertainment. In his lecture, entitled ‘Mental FX’, Marc will be explaining in detail some of his pet routines all of which are exceedingly practical and commercial. They are all from his professional shows and have been honed for the corporate market. Because of the huge amount of travel he does each year he has stripped down his performance material to use minimal props but still have maximum impact on the audience. Marc will talk about how you can work an effect to an audience of one or how you can perform the same effect to an audience of thousands. Even if you have no interest in mentalism as such you will gain a lot of knowledge from studying the way that Marc thinks and works - and you will be entertained as well! 17.9.11
