He is often to be found surrounded by a group of people, all engaged in what he is doing, laughing at what he is saying and in awe of the mastery of his craft. He is equally skilful in the field of close-up, stand-up, restaurants or trade shows, making him the perfect lecturer and performer to make his Irish debut. Magic Moments 15, update. Eight Scottish Presidents, plus five Vice-Presidents met up in Perth last week as guests of Perth Magic Circle. As a prelude to the forthcoming Scottish Association of Magical Societies Annual Convention being held in Perth in May, this was intended to be a fun night with everyone having the opportunity to get acquainted with one another. Clubs represented were Aberdeen Magic Circle, Dundee Society of Magicians, Edinburgh Magic Circle, West Lothian Magic Circle, Forth Valley Magic Circle, Scottish Conjurors Association, Glasgow Magic Circle and Paisley Magic Circle. Perth's President, James Boyd welcomed the Events Co-ordinator for Perth Council, Michael Boyle who said a few words to the audience members and then acted as the compère for the evening. Every President performed some magic and then following a brief interval for some refreshments, other guests took turns to entertain. This was a real fun night of magic with no politics involved and was a great way to set the mood for the Convention. Details of the Convention can be found on the Scottish Association of Magical Societies website  www.scottishassociationofmagicalsocieties.co.uk. Adrian Harris. 28.3.15
