74th British Ring IBM Convention

This
is the last call for you to attend this year’s British Ring Convention in
Eastbourne. You will still able to register for this lavish programme of
spectacular magic starting next Wednesday 22nd September at the Registration
Desk which will open at 10.30am in the foyer of the Congress Theatre (photo).
For those of you who have not previously attended one of our Conventions in
Eastbourne the whole of the Convention takes place within the Congress Theatre
and adjacent Winter Garden Complex. From midday Wednesday to midday Sunday you
will be able to enjoy a terrific International Magic Show plus another three
stage shows, an International Close-up Show, a Cabaret night, a stage, close-up
and table magic competition, ten lectures on different branches of magic, three
workshops, a Collectors Seminar and a Dealers Exhibition and Demonstration. All
of this for a registration fee of £125 (£110 for British Ring members and their
partners and £65 for junior magicians). Day registrations are available at £55
per day (£45 for British Ring members and their partners, £25 junior magicians).
There is a special weekend registration fee, which includes a Gala Show ticket,
fee of £35 for junior magicians.
Just to remind you the acts appearing and/or delivering a lecture are Rich
Bloch, Richard Cadell and Sooty, Sean Carpenter, Jimmy Carlo, Paul Dabek,
Charlie Frye and Co., Richard forget, Flip, Julius Frack, Cyril Harvey, Danny
Hunt, Graham P Jolley, Ian Keable, Derek Lever, The Great Nardini, Peter
Scarlett, Mike Stokes, The Black Fingers. In addition the British Ring is proud
to have for the first time at their convention Danny Buckler, Martin Eisele,
Andrew green, Steve Hewlett, Matt Johnson, Manuel Muerte, Pluck, Stephen
Williams, Bob Yelland and Yogane.
The President of the British Ring Shirley Ray and all the Officers are looking
forward to welcoming and meeting you all in Eastbourne. To those who are
attending our Convention for the first time our stewards are there to assist you
in any way. If you need information or directions don’t be shy in approaching
them for and asking for help. Each will be wearing an identifying badge. Please
display at all times the registration badge you will receive in your
registration pack. Without it you will not be able to gain admission to any
event including the Dealers Exhibition Hall.
