Cruise Ship Magic Secrets Day

Gary Young put on one of his fabulous Magic
Days once again, this time it was 'Cruise Ship Magic for Magicians' for those wanting to break into this very specialised
market.
Throughout the day there were four speakers:

Matthew McGurk
Mark Shortland
Simon Hannah
All of whom were very experienced Cruise Ship performers.
Everything was covered from getting an agent, of which there are very few that the Cruise companies use, to flight preparation and getting your flights. What to pack was covered too, taking into account how to avoid extra baggage charges!
Routines from Marc's mentalism act (that fits in to a flight bag) to a full-blown illusion shows were covered in great detail.
Performing for children and families and the demands put on the performer
were discussed, as well as
the amount of shows required, including everything from balloon modeling to workshops and full
stage shows.
The level of detail from all speakers was fantastic. All people need to do now
is go and get those bookings.
This was a great day packed full of useful and entertaining information, and all
for just £65 including lunch!
Personally I think it was way underpriced!
