The Magic Dealers Emporium will be open from 10am until 6pm, including a special Dealers Happy Hour between 11am-12 noon, where you will have a chance to grab a bargain! This event will replace The Magic Circle Dealers Day this year and is being held at the Wesley Hotel, 81 Euston Street, London NW1 2EZ, just a couple of minutes from Euston Station. (Note: Tickets for The Magic Emporium will not admit you to The Magic Circle HQ or the Convention, which is now sold out. The HQ will be at full capacity.) Daniel Chard: An Evening of Chardistry. Manchester Circle of Magicians. Alex D Fisher, Entertainment Secretary, writes: Manchester Circle of Magicians is proud to announce that the Chard Shark himself, Mr Daniel Chard, will be lecturing at the club.
One of Britain's finest card workers, author and inventor, and has released several videos. Daniel brings his latest lecture to us this coming Monday, 5th September. Terry Herbert does it again... Mike Ingham writes: Terry Herbert was on top form at the Kent Magicians Guild Close-up and Stage competition, held last Tuesday. Terry entered and won the Close-up section with a lovely card trick and a very funny Chop Cup Routine. As always he stormed it! The Stage Competition was won again by Nigel Roberts with a very strong rope routine, followed by a hilarious mindreading rat. A very enjoyable evening, many thanks to all who took part.
